Wise Turtle Publishing prides itself on
liberal usage of quality art. If you have
interest in working for us, you must e-mail
or provide a website with the following

This file will be reviewed. If it is acceptable,
we will mail back with possible projects
and payments, which, of course, you are
not obligated to accept. In either case,
your name and contact information will
remain on file for notification of future
products, unless you request otherwise.
What We Are Looking For: At the
current time, all Wise Turtle products
have a heavy anime influence. Skill is
required in mimicing, or at least paying
homage to, that style. Other art styles
will not be acknowledged at this time.
Why Should You Be Interested?:
Wise Turtle Publishing offers an unparalleled
amount of freedom and involvement. Artists
are not simply paid workhorses, but instead
are treated as the intrensic part of the
creative process they should be. Artists
have the ability to design and redesign
character concepts as they see fit, and
are allowed to comment and make suggestions
on the project as a whole. In most situations,
artists are even allowed to choose what
images they prefer to draw.
- Writers -
Are you an anime expert? If you
can describe an anime genre backwards
and forwards, then we may have a job for
you! In the future, Wise Turtle Publishing
plans to create a series of "genre
books" further detailing the ins
and outs of a specific anime category.
If you would like a foot in the door for
one of these projects, e-mail a brief
overview of your knowledge, including
what genre, and a small writing sample
that makes use of it.
Wise Turtle Publishing is not
accepting general writing submissions
at the time.

Licensing -
If you are interested in using Ricochet,
there are several licensing options available.
Conversion License............$25
This is a simple license that allows you
to include a small section converting
another rule system to Ricochet. This
allows you to make use of the Abilities
and Weaknesses list by name, but does
not give you the right to copy or make
use of any of the descriptions thereof.
Though you may make reference to the rules
as neccessary, you may not restate them
implicitly.
Straight License..................$50
+ 5% Royalties
This license allows you to use the Ricochet
mechanics in your RPG. Though you may
use any and all rules currently published
in OVA products, you may not make any
major alterations to these rules. Slight
modifications and additions are acceptable,
but changing any of the core mechanics
(like for damage and combat) is not.
Free License.......................$100
+ 5% Royalties
You may use and alter the Ricochet mechanics
as you please.
