| Probably one of the first things you'll notice when you enter Redwall
3000, is that this isn't fantasy. There are enough Redwall clubs
of that sort to go around. No, I needed something different.
I had just watched Star Wars again for the heck of it...then I thought.
What about a sci-fi Redwall? And so, Redwall 3000 was born.
Originally it was a sort of spin-off of Castle Alelea. Since then,
all references to that club were eradicated, so Redwall 3000 was completely
its own and original club.
For a while, Redwall 3000 followed the model Castle Alelea set forth, with ranks and such gained by particitating in "missions." In other words, members would get a rank for writing a story on a particular "mission objective." What set Redwall 3000 apart from so many clubs like it was the fact that what you did mattered. If you picked up a new technology on your mission, you'd find it on the Lab page. However, my interest in Redwall 3000 wained, as did any updates. Seeing this was unfair, I created a message board for the members to talk on. I was surprised to find that they started their own role-playing sessions. It hit me then that this is where the club should be going. Fast forward to a year later, Redwall 3000 2.0 was born. A rewrite of the entire page with a new look, as well as placing the message board as the central item, not an unupdated list of silly missions. Redwall 3000 has come a long way since it opened, and it sure has changed. But one promise I made a long time ago...Redwall 3000 is here to stay. So...go on, have fun. This is your world too. -- Clay (AKA Rendor)
