Probably one of the first things you'll notice when you enter Redwall 3000, is that this isn't fantasy.  There are enough Redwall clubs of that sort to go around.  No, I needed something different.  I had just watched Star Wars again for the heck of it...then I thought.  What about a sci-fi Redwall?  And so, Redwall 3000 was born.  Originally it was a sort of spin-off of Castle Alelea.  Since then, all references to that club were eradicated, so Redwall 3000 was completely its own and original club.

For a while, Redwall 3000 followed the model Castle Alelea set forth, with ranks and such gained by particitating in "missions."  In other words, members would get a rank for writing a story on a particular "mission objective."  What set Redwall 3000 apart from so many clubs like it was the fact that what you did mattered.  If you picked up a new technology on your mission, you'd find it on the Lab page.

However, my interest in Redwall 3000 wained, as did any updates.  Seeing this was unfair, I created a message board for the members to talk on.  I was surprised to find that they started their own role-playing sessions.  It hit me then that this is where the club should be going.

Fast forward to a year later, Redwall 3000 2.0 was born.  A rewrite of the entire page with a new look, as well as placing the message board as the central item, not an unupdated list of silly missions.

Redwall 3000 has come a long way since it opened, and it sure has changed.  But one promise I made a long time ago...Redwall 3000 is here to stay.  So...go on, have fun.  This is your world too.

FAQ about old R3K
Hey, what happened to the members list?
It's gone. :)  The list became too much of a chore to update, and good folks were waiting way too long to get on it.  So now, just don't worry about it!  Jump to the message board and roleplay!  And there's nothing stopping you from uploading your character's bio on the web somewhere. :)
What about missions?
Gone too.  They were silly and unneccessary.  I found that you guys can make much better missions on your own.
Will we ever see the old page again?
Probably not.  If folks are REALLY interested in seeing some of the old stuff again, I'll see about uploading a "gallery" of the old page.

Special Thanks

My parents, who gave me internet access to begin with...
George Lucas, whose Star Wars trilogy actually inspired me to warp Redwall into the sci-fi genre...
And of course, Brian Jacques, whose wonderful books this club is sort of based on.
