After a lengthy quiet spell,
Wise Turtle Publishing has officially
announced a new Revised Edition of OVA.
You can find out more at the official
Revised Edition Blog,
which updates every Monday with sneak
peeks at the new rules, changes, and completely
redone artwork to be featured in the upcoming
book.
Wise Turtle would also have my hide if
I failed to mention that today is World
Turtle Day. Take the time
to be kind to our ancient reptillian friends.
If you fail to find a friendly specimen
to appreciate, at least google a terrapin
or two. You might even learn something
new!

Due to errors by the RPGNow.com
and DrivethruRPG.com
staff, those of you who have already downloaded
a "revised" copy of the OVA
game have, instead, received an old one.
Notifications with new download links
have been sent to all customers who enabled
product notifications in their accounts,
while a second round of notifications
should be sent in the coming days to everyone
has purchased the PDF. Even if you did
not receive a notification, you can download
the new version by going to your account's
purchase history or by filling out the
survey mentioned in the last update.
Oh, and Wise Turtle's gourdy makeover
is courtesy of my sister Jade!

Long
overdue, the OVA PDF has been updated
to include all changes found in the distribution
edition, as well as a smattering of new
corrections. See the errata
in the Extras
page for details.
Those
of you who purchased the PDF from RPGnow
should have received a new download link
via your RPGnow
account email address.However, you may
not have received a link if:
1) You indicated you did not want to receive
publisher mail.
2) You purchased a Print on Demand copy
of the game but not a PDF.
3) You purchased OVA through another website
or brick-and-mortar store.
4) You purchased OVA at www.drivethrurpg.com.
If you did not receive an updated PDF,
please fill out the consumer response
form in the back of the book. This will
prove your prior ownership of OVA and
a download link will be sent to you.

OVA
is finally available through distribution!
Through Alliance Games alone, there have
already been 100 sales. Thanks to
everyone who has continued to support
this game and spread the word.
If you do not already have a copy of OVA,
or you want your Favorite Local Gaming
Shop to carry it, please give them the
product ID "NOW WT1001."
This differs slightly from the original
ID because of RPGnow's
involvement in distributing the game.
Also, in the Extras
section is a complete list of errata
reflecting every change made to the game
since its initial online publication.

After
shuffling through three printers, OVA
(with any luck) is finally making it into
distribution. Over 200 preorders
have been made through various distributors,
which means copies of OVA will be popping
up all across the country!
As mentioned, the delay for the book has
been caused by printers who either couldn't
handle the job or did not produce a book
of the quality I needed. Hopefully
the latest crew RPGnow has put together
can get the job done.
Although no books were there, OVA made
a showing at the RPGnow booth at the recent
GTS show. You can almost
make out our poster next to the RPGnow
logo in this shot.
